Is this a product awards program analyzing and recognizing the characteristics of products that are available in the market?
No, it isn’t. The program’s intent is to recognize military and aerospace electronics products, design innovations, networking schemes, and subsystems integration as real-world enabling technologies for aerospace and defense applications. To that end, a submission should describe in some detail how a product, design, or subsystem has been put to use and solves design problems that previously were difficult or impossible. This awards program is an opportunity for product manufacturers to showcase their products’ characteristics and value. Please include people and/or organizations such as component suppliers, subsystem integrators, and prime systems integrators that participated in the successful deployment of a product, group of products, or system. The program gives product manufacturers the opportunity to nominate themselves along with their business partners, suppliers, and customers.
What are the categories for Military & Aerospace Electronics Innovators Awards submissions?
- C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance)
- Trusted Computing
- Electro-Optics
- Embedded Computing
- Interconnect Technology
- Power Electronics
- RF & Microwave
- Software
- Test & Measurement
What if we’ve completed a worthy project but the end-user customer won’t allow us to publicize it?
Please describe the project in general terms with as many specifics as possible. For example, a submission can include references like “a prime systems integrator specializing in avionics design.” With the user characterized in general terms yet remaining anonymous, the remainder of the project’s description can be more specific without compromising a customer that wishes to remain anonymous.
Who can submit an entry?
Submissions are open to any organization or person, of any discipline, involved in the specification, design, installation, or management of military and aerospace electronics components, subsystems, full systems, or military platforms. We know that innovations take place in many forms, so submissions can describe creativity and innovative thinking used in developing military and aerospace electronics hardware and software that save time, money, energy, or all of the above.
I prefer to be billed rather than paying via credit card. Is this possible?
We are able to bill for awards entries but there is a $50 processing fee for customers not using a credit card.
